SAIS Evaluation Reports
Availability of SAIS Reports:
The release dates for SAIS evaluation reports vary depending on the format used by a particular course.
Online
- Reports for those classes evaluated online are usually available to SAIS a week after the online system closes.
Paper
- Reports are typically released to SAIS four weeks after materials are picked up from departments (pick up occurs on the day after final exams conclude).
Once SAIS receives the reports,
two copies of an instructor's SAIS report are given to
Department Heads—one
is meant for the instructor and the other is to be kept
for departmental records.
If a course has fewer than five responses, the forms are scanned
but no report is generated. An instructor may request copies of
the evaluation forms from SAIS by sending an e-mail to SAIS (sais@utk.edu)
which includes the department, course number, section number, and
address to which the copies are to be mailed.
Evaluation reports are not available online.
Limited results are posted on the SGA's Tennessee 101 website.
(*Please note that these results are not official evaluation
reports.)
Getting copies of SAIS reports:
If
an instructor misplaces his/her evaluation report, he/she should
first check with the departmental secretary or the SAIS contact
for the department. If a department misplaces a report, a replacement
can be requested by sending an e-mail to SAIS (sais@utk.edu).
Please include the following information:
•Instructor's
name
•Course number
•Section number
•Semester & year
•Indicate whether or not the instructor used the Online
evaluation system
*Printed Reports can be accessed for semesters only as far back as Spring 2000. The individual evaluation forms for those courses that did not receive a report are only held for six months.
