Questions about the new end-of-course evaluations?
Click here for more information about the process.
End of Course Evaluations are coordinated through the University of Tennessee Office of Institutional Research and Assessment and provide for student evaluation of teaching at the University. The evaluation instrument was developed through the efforts of a task force of faculty members, students and representatives from the Tennessee TLC and OIRA. Additional development, including reliability and validity testing, was conducted by Dr. Jennifer Morrow, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Research – Evaluation, Statistics and Measurement.
All End of Course Evaluation responses are subject to the Tennessee Open Records Law. This applies to both structured and open-ended responses. Results of the assessment are provided to instructors once the semester ends and all student grades have been posted on MyUTK.
